Cattlemen's Feed & Milling started in business as a feed manufacturing company in 1967 and purchased our current company location at Meloland Cattle Co. in 1980. We are a custom cattle feeding operation in California's Imperial Valley specializing in feeding light weight holstein calves and crossbred calves from the south and southeast. Our total capacity is 16,000 head at two locations. We are a partner in Brawley Beef, LLC providing an excellent local market for our cattle.
The dry desert southwest and warm winter temperatures enable us to receive light cattle 12 months a year. Bill Brandenberg is the manager with over 30 years experience feeding calves. We offer purchasing, hedging and marketing of calves for our customers.
